About the tour
Orlando, Florida is where space exploration was born and rockets are still launched. The Space and STEM Tour is a once in a lifetime experience that is designed to inspire and nurture the next generation of science, technology, engineering and maths students. At the Kennedy Space Centre, students will receive hands-on training from experienced educators, meet a veteran NASA astronaut and participate in unique learning activities in world-class facilities and experience the most realistic simulations on earth. These activities will immerse students into the science and history behind space exploration, giving context to their STEM classroom learning.
Orlando also offers the opportunity to experience fantastic nature reserves, enjoy its fabulous cuisine and amazing theme parks. In addition, students can learn about physics and robotics at Universal Studios, experience physics in action at iFly, partake in workshops at Orlando Science Centre and explore the Everglades by airboat.
